After School in February
January has brought cold temperatures, rain and holiday/weather breaks so we have spent much of our month indoors! As we get back on a regular schedule this month we have several field trips, and a few guests scheduled to share their talents with the children.
February is “Heart Healthy Month”, so to do our part, our children will travel on Thursdays this month to the Extension Office in Barco to take classes on Heart Health, Nutrition and Recycling.
We would like to welcome a new student to our BS/AS program, Ryan Boyer. Ryan is new to the area and is in the 2nd grade. We look forward to getting to know Ryan and his family!
Are you a good story teller? The BS/AS children are fascinated with the “old stories” told from members of our congregation! If you have an old story to tell, consider coming to our group and sharing it with us!
