Randy is the son of a Methodist Minister and grew up in parsonages.  He received degrees in Finance and Business before heading to Duke Divinity School where he graduated in December of 1983.  Since graduation, Randy has served Bell Arthur in the Fayetteville District (1984-1986); Salem in the Goldsboro District (1986-1990); as Associate Minister at Edenton St. in Raleigh (1990-1996); Jenkins Memorial in the Raleigh District (1996-1998); Bethel in the Burlington District (1998-2002); Concord (2002-2005), and Fellowship-St. Paul in the Rockingham District (2005- 2009).
